PERSONALISED NUTRITIONAL THERAPY

Getting to the Root Cause of Your Symptoms

Maybe you’re navigating perimenopause and nothing about your body feels familiar: your weight, sleep, energy, or mood have all shifted. Maybe you’ve been told you have IBS and have tried cutting out food after food, only to find nothing really seems to make a lasting difference. Maybe your weight, cholesterol, or blood sugar are shifting in the wrong direction and you want the right support to turn things around. Or perhaps you simply want to optimise your health for the future.

Wherever you’re starting from, I take the time to understand your whole picture, your history, your lifestyle, your goals, and help you make sense of it all.

Whatever has brought you here, it often comes down to the same few things:

That’s exactly what nutritional therapy is for. And it’s exactly the support I’m here to offer.

ABOUT KATIE

I'm Katie Lovegrove. My Background Spans 25 Years in Healthcare.

Nutrition had always been an interest of mine, long before it became my career. For over 20 years, I worked in healthcare as a physiotherapist, practising across the NHS and private sector, helping patients manage chronic pain, recover from surgery, and navigate the physical and musculoskeletal symptoms surrounding perimenopause and menopause. Time and again, I felt nutrition could have been so helpful to these patients, yet it was never really considered as part of their care.

During a period living in Australia, I realised my passion truly lay in nutrition, and so I went back to studying, this time at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), where I gained a BSc in Nutritional Therapy. I am now a registered nutritional therapist specialising in women’s health, with additional training in nutrigenomics, a form of genetic testing that helps tailor nutrition and lifestyle to your unique biology.

My years in healthcare taught me that real change rarely comes from a quick fix or a generic plan. It takes time to properly understand what’s going on beneath the surface, and a joined-up approach that looks at the whole person, not just a set of symptoms.

That’s exactly where I come in, giving you the time and attention to properly understand your health, and a plan you can actually live with.

Together, we’ll get to the root cause of how you’re feeling, and build a plan with realistic, achievable changes that actually fit your life.

Specialising in

Root-Cause, Whole Person Care

Lasting change rarely happens overnight. It comes from the right nutrition and lifestyle support, personalised to you.

Perimenopause & Menopause

This is a time when everything shifts. Your metabolism, your sleep, your mood, your tolerance to stress and alcohol, the way your body holds weight. So much of it can be supported through nutrition and lifestyle, and yet knowing where to start can feel overwhelming and hard to navigate alone. I'll help you understand what is actually going on and how to feel more like yourself again.

Weight & Body Composition

Weight is rarely just about willpower, especially as we move through our 30s, 40s, and beyond. Muscle mass changes, hormones shift, and the nutrition and lifestyle habits that used to work simply stop working. I'll help you take a proper look at what is driving it and build a way of eating and living that actually supports your body as it is now.

Chronic & Long Term Conditions

Autoimmune conditions, thyroid issues, inflammatory arthritis, recurrent infections, fatigue that no one can quite explain. These are the conditions that need time, curiosity, and a proper look at the whole picture. This is about going beyond symptom management and starting to understand what your body is really asking for.

Pre-diabetes & Metabolic Health

If you've recently had a result that's made you think about supporting your health more proactively, nutrition and lifestyle changes can make a real difference. I'll help you understand what's driving it, using functional testing where helpful, and build a personalised plan that supports your health going forward, whatever path you and your doctor decide on together.

Gut & Digestive Issues

Bloating, IBS, constipation, gallbladder issues, or a gut that just doesn't feel right. These are some of the most common and most frustrating symptoms to live with. They're rarely caused by one single thing, and generic advice often falls short. I'll help you get to the bottom of what's really going on, and build a way of eating that actually supports your digestion, long-term.

Specialised Nutrigenomic Testing

Nutrigenomic testing is a simple cheek swab that looks at small variations in your genes and what they mean for your nutrition. It's not about predicting illness. It's about understanding your body better: how you absorb vitamin D, how you process histamine, how your hormones are metabolised. It's a brilliant tool for taking the guesswork out of nutrition and tailoring your plan with real precision.

Work With Katie

Nutritional Therapy & Functional Medicine

Together, we’ll build a clear picture of your health, your history, your day-to-day life, and where your body might need extra support, and create a personalised plan that genuinely fits the way you live. Here’s what to expect:

You’ll complete an in-depth intake form before we meet, sharing your health background, any recent blood test results, and what’s been going on for you. This gives us a clear starting point for your first session.

In your first session, we’ll walk through your full health history, your symptoms, your goals, and your lifestyle to uncover the patterns and root causes behind how you’re feeling.

You’ll leave with a clear, practical plan tailored to your body, including recipe ideas you’ll genuinely want to cook and supplement guidance where it’s needed.
We may use functional or nutrigenomic testing to gather deeper insight, but it’s never required to get started. If it makes sense for you, we’ll talk through it together.

Real change rarely happens in one session. Follow-up appointments give us the space to review what’s working, adjust where needed, and keep you moving forward instead of falling off track.
